Hi Loves.
How are you? As the Fall is nearing here, I've taken to re-organizing my studio so I can have items close at hand rather than having to pause the video to fetch or bend over and rifle through a bag. There is something about the cold that makes me want to nest and find ways to create cozy.
Saturday I was supposed to have a supply list ready for you. However, I had no clue what to do for this week. By not planning we created some pretty awesome items. The video took 2 days to film and 2 days to upload. She's a long video but has tons of tips and money saving ways to help with those on a budget/just starting out.
You will need:
Thin wood shapes (kids department at Walmart or most stores carry them)
Clay
Bake 'n Bond or School/Craft Glue
Clay Roller
Eyelets
Eyelet Setter
Porcelain Tile
Clay Cutter or X-Acto Knife
Optional:
Clay Molds
Stencils
Mica Powder or Eyeshadows
Metallic Rubs (DecoArt)
Triple Gloss Glaze
Embellishment Gems
For the amount of time spent on this week's project, we will be doing one piece at a time from here on out. I don't want you to lose the joy for clay. I had a lot of fun and I hope the video shows it. I was frustrated due to the humidity of those 2 days.
The video will be available soon and I will post that when its processed.
Everyday is a new day to open the door to your heart and learn to art. Lets go play!
Love & Hugs
Theresa (Cracked Heart Studio) <3
