Clay Play Tuesday: Delay Explaination and Project Preview

Hi Loves.

How are you?

I bet you are wondering why I didn't leave a supply list for this week's Clay Play Tuesday?!  Let me be honest with you.  I wasn't sure how this product would perform on a recycled glass container.  I have watched many tutorials where the artist used air dry clay and after drying, cracked severely.  I didn't want you to go out and buy a product that I hadn't fully explored.  I want you to trust me completely and I will not chance our tender relationship.

I have been working on this product since last Thursday.  I am beyond thrilled that it worked.  I show you the exact brand of clay in the video tutorial that will be public Tuesday.  Below is a supply list and a preview picture of the unfinished project.

You will need:
Air dry clay (I used a type of clay that I mix myself with water)
Water
A recycled container (I used a sauce jar)
Paint Brush
Kitchen Sponge cut into small squares
Molds for your clay shapes
Americana Acrylic Paints:
Chalk Paint in Innocence, Vintage, Primrose, Primitive, Delicate and Whisper
DecoArt's Dura Clear Soft Touch Varnish (Delicious to the touch)

Please feel free to ask questions or just leave comment.

Everyday is a new day to open the door to your heart and learn to art.  Lets go play!

Love & Hugs
